Dicks sporting goods customers service reps are horrible. They dont know anything and thry screwed my order up three times & now im being charged three times & have to return the items to get a refund because they claim its tok late for them to cancel it! Do not order from ***'s online. I ordered online a pair of boots that are not sold in ***'s stores. The boots were in stock. I ordered them on November 15. Just received an email saying my boots should arrive on November 30. I can see no reason it should take two weeks to receive ANY item ordered in the US. I will never order from them again. I purchased a weight rack at dicks in July. I realized it was missing a screw when I went to put it together at home. Because there was a piece of paper in the box stating that if there were pieces missing to contact costumer service which I did instead of just returning it. they had kayaks on sale so decided to go . ended up saving a little money by getting a store credit card. so paid off and since store is over a hour drive from home we dont go often. well they canceled my card without advanced notice by phone or mail. cuased my credit score to drop 85points. right while in the middle of refi on house. and only a month and a half before christmas. now thats *** on there part for now i am pissed. they loose... All of them suck and don't really care about helping customers... They could give two *** about helping anyone. Every Dicks store I have been to employees are always grumpy and hate their job. I never get a greeting when I go there and have to hit the ringer to get a fitting room many times.. emails suck,never get to me on time. VISITED DICKS SPORTING GOODS IN FASHION ISLAND, NEWPORT BEACH,CA TO PURCHASE A PAIR OF ADIDAS SNEAKERS FOR MY HUSBAND. WENT TO THE FOOT WEAR DEPT IN THE BACK OF THE STORE (I HAD BROUGHT HIS OLD PAIR SO I COULD FIND SOMETHING THE SAME OR SIMILAR). THERE ARE ROW UPON ROW OF BOXES OF SNEAKERS - NO PERSON TO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE. I WALKED AROUND THE ENTIRE DEPARTMENT FOR AT LEAST 15 MINUTES LOOKING FOR AN EMPLOYEE TO HELP ME. THERE WAS NO ONE! ... This was absolutely the worse experience I have ever had with online shopping!!I chose "overnight" shipping and was charged $15.99. I am now into the 4th day. Explanation is it takes 4-6 business days to process then it will be overnighted. Ludicrous! All of my past experience is once overnight is chosen the distribution process become priority (especially when merchandise is in stock) to ensure the overnight takes place. Dicks ordering process... I bought several items online on Monday for my husband's birthday on Friday. When I placed the order, it did not tell me they were not available. I received an e-mail later that night, telling me the order had been "Cancelled" with no other explanation and that my credit card had not been charged. We were at western center at 6:57 and we needed to get something asap! We were not allowed to walk in the store. So annoying. They told told us that registers closed at 7:00pm and as we were walking away they made an announcement over the intercom saying that shoppers had a few minutes left before closing the registers. We arrived at 6:57 and we needed a water bottle. The female manager said we could not enter. It was not passed closing time and we feel we could be out by closing time. She was very rude and said she could not care if she had our business.
