Dicks Sporting Goods - Poor return and trade in policy
About 8 weeks ago I went to ***'s in Davenport, Florida. They had a Cobra driver on sale for $175.00 on sale from original price $350.00.
Used the club (2) times and spoke with a Golf Pro and he advised me the club head was to heavy so I went back to ***'s to trade it in for a different driver. At that time they were having a sale on Taylor made rocketball which I was interested in and also a Calloway X Hot driver. I asked about my new F6 Cobra and he suggested I sell it outright for there offer for a trade in was $54.00 I said you got to be kidding and to make matters the other above mentioned drivers I was interested in all that were left was lefthanded. Never made an attempt to contact another store stated all he could do is show me something else.
I took the trade in for $54.00 and settled for a Taylor Made Aero=Burner which truthfully is not what I wanted. This has left a bitter taste in my moth for I really wanted either a Rocketball driver or the Calloway X Hot driver. I feel the salesperson who was personal could have gone an extra mile to help me obtained what I was looking for and what was advertise by your company. I will definitely shop somewhere else in the future.
I have a driver I did not want and probably won't use, To me this is not the customer service that is expected by a store like ***'s Sporting Goods. anthony_t _iacobelli@***.com
